Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Online Gaming GM's Dream

Following a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection is back for a limited time that lasts through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The big draw is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.

Philanthropic Aspect

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
